Neversink Local History Afternoon Planned

Neversink post office in 1907 provided by June TillsonNeversink History Afternoon has been set for Sunday, November 3 from 1 to 4 pm, at the Time and the Valleys Museum in Grahamsville, Sullivan County, NY.

The Museum’s rich collection of historical records, photographs, books and artifacts will be available to visitors and researchers, bringing to life the history of the Town of Neversink.

Michael Kudish, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus of Paul Smith’s College Division of Forestry will give a program on Catskills Bog Land. Kudish has sampled hundreds of bogs in the Catskills, and will talk about his findings begining at 1 pm.

Admission is free, and includes admission to two floors of Museum exhibitions.

The Time and the Valleys Museum is located at 332 Main Street (St. Rt. 55) in Grahamsville.
