This week on The Historians Podcast, David Fiske described an 1840s enslavement case (similar to Solomon Northup) involving an African American named Eli Terry of Indiana. Fiske, previously co-author of a book on Northup, will speak on the Eli Terry case at Solomon Northup Day at the Willsboro, New York, School on Saturday, July 20 at 4 pm.
