Roosevelt Reading Festival at FDR Library Saturday

Roosevelt Reading FestivalThe 16th annual Roosevelt Reading Festival has been set for June 15th at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, 4079 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Michael Beschloss, presidential historian and 2008 Archives Partnership Trust Empire State Archives & History Award recipient is set to speak. Fifteen authors of works that draw upon the Roosevelt Library archives – or focus on the Roosevelt era – will present throughout the day, followed by question-and-answer sessions and book signings.

This year’s festival will include a special afternoon discussion, “FDR: Leader and Educator” with historians Susan Dunn and Michael Beschloss. Copies of all of the authors’ books will be available for sale in the New Deal Store.

This event is free and open to the public.
