madison county farmThe Madison County Historical Society has relaunched the Madison County Heritage journal, which has been dormant since 2015.

The mission of the Madison County Historical Society is to preserve, collect, promote, and exhibit the history of Madison County and to develop programs enhancing that heritage. The Society publishes Madison County Heritage, an annual anthology of essays showcasing aspects of the local past.

Copies are distributed at no charge to members as a benefit of membership. Additional copies may be purchased for $6 at the Society. Madison County Historical Society is not responsible for statements of fact or opinion made by contributors. All articles are copyrighted by the MCHS.

Prepare your article as a clean typescript. Submit it as a file attached to an email (with suggested pictures as separate jpg files) to: Sydney L. Loftus, (Executive Director, Co-chair Heritage Committee), Sydney@mchs.org; or to John Acker (Treasurer, Co-chair Heritage Committee), backer49us@yahoo.com.
