Leadership, Management Workshop at Lake to Locks

Lakes to Locks Passage has announced Leadership & Management: Developing and Guiding an Effective Board of Directors, a workshop set for Friday, June 21st, from 10 am to 3 pm, in the Schuyler Room in the Town of Saratoga Offices, 12 Spring Street, Schuylerville.

This workshop, presented by Susan Weinrich of New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc. (NYCON), defines roles and responsibilities of board members, executive directors, staff and volunteers to build understanding and partnerships that further the organizational goals.

The workshop includes legal and fiduciary responsibilities, policy and monitoring functions; accountability; effectively balancing responsible board oversight with day to day staffing and operational roles; and building a motivated and engaged board of directors.

The workshop is $15 per person, payable by cash or check, and includes lunch and materials. Pre-Registration is required.
