The Iroquois Indian Museum in Howes Cave, NY, has announced they are searching for volunteers.
The museum will soon be busy with school groups, and we needs volunteers to help students make cornhusk dolls, bead a necklace, or make miniature clay pots. Once spring has arrived, volunteers well help in the Nature Park spreading wood chips on paths, building walkways and viewing sites, and putting out signage. Volunteers also help with preparing materials for hands on experiences in the Children’s Museum, stuffing envelopes for mailings, or painting walls for new exhibits.
The museum is also searching for someone who is very tech savvy and can help with the online Museum shop.
Those interested should email the Museum at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Iroquois Indian Museum is located at 324 Caverns Road, Howes Cave. For more information, visit their website.
