Hadley-Luzerne Oral History Workshops Planned

Kinnear Museum in Lake LuzerneMaureen Jones, a member of the Hadley-Luzerne Historical Society’s Oral History Project, is set to meet with Society members and community members one evening a month during January, February and March.

These meetings will take place on the last Thursday of the month – January 31, February 28 and March 28 from 6 to 8 pm at the Kinnear Museum in Lake Luzerne, Warren County, NY.

The January workshop meeting will include an overview of oral history, including the contents of the Historical Society’s Oral History collection.

Jones has an undergraduate degree in American Studies from Skidmore College and a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern Maine. She has been awarded two grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities in the fields of American Studies. She currently teaches history and English in Johnstown.

The Kinnear Museum is located at 52 Main, Lake Luzerne. For further information email maureenjones12846@yahoo.com.
