Albany Institute Free For Furloughed Federal Workers

Effective immediately, the Albany Institute of History & Art will offer free admission to furloughed federal employees impacted by the government shutdown. Federal employees must present a valid government identification card at the admission desk and will receive free admission for themselves and up to three guests.

The offer will continue for the duration of the shutdown.

The Albany Institute of History & Art is located at 125 Washington Avenue in Albany. Free parking is available in the museum’s lot at the corner of Elk and Dove Streets.
