The Annual Monroe D. Ray Albany Fall Foliage Political Memorabilia Show & Sale has been set for Friday and Saturday October 12-13, 2018, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Albany.
The Albany Institute of History & Art will bring a selection of original political broadsides from their extensive library collection that includes historic books, ledgers, maps, photographs, deeds, and more on Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm.
This special free viewing will include original political broadsides from the DeWitt Clinton Political Broadside Collection of the Albany Institute of History & Art 1777 to 1813. Subjects include anti-John Adams broadside from 1800, DeWitt Clinton Presidential broadsides from 1812, New York Governor campaign broadsides for Vice President George Clinton, Chief Justice John Jay, Vice Presidents Aaron Burr and Daniel Thompson, among others.
