The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has announced they will unveil a juried photography exhibition in 2019 called Photo Finish, and are now accepting submissions of photography work by both amateur and professional photographers in relation to thoroughbred racing in America.
There is no limitation to the type of photos that can be considered. Racing scenes, portraits (both human and equine), whimsical, morning workouts, retired racehorses, etc., are all welcome; it is up to the photographer to interpret the theme and be as creative as possible. A panel of judges representing both the racing and arts communities will select the photographs for the inaugural exhibition, which will open on January 19, 2019 in the von Stade Gallery.
Application forms will be available at the Museum Front Desk, at each Photo Finish backstretch photography tour and can be downloaded online.
