The Salmagundi Consort is set to present an introduction to popular music of the Hudson Valley in the late 18th century at Albert Wisner Public Library in Warwick, Orange County, NY, on Sunday, June 3 at 2 pm.
Gene Tozzi (hammer dulcimore), Jane Barsumian (violin) and Sona Hairabedian (cello) combine music with reenactment, interspersing their concert with accounts of musical performance of the period.
Attendees should bring a folding chair or blanket for seating at the library’s River Birch outdoor performance space.
The Albert Wisner Public Library is located at 1 McFarland Dr, Warwick, NY.
This free program, funded by the AWPL Foundation through a gift from Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes, is open to all but advance registration is recommended in case of inclement weather.
