Knickerbocker Tours Offering Roosevelt-Deep Dive

​Franklin Roosevelt at age 18A two-and-one-half day introduction to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, set for May 4-6, has been announced by Knickerbocker Tours.

The event will feature tours of the homes of FDR and ER (Springwood, Val-Kill, & Top Cottage), sessions with National Park Service staff describing their work in maintaining and curating these national treasures, informational sessions on the life stories of ER and FDR and the wider world into which they were born, and more.

This will be a small group event of no more than 20, allowing participants maximum engagement, and is geared to the interested lay-person looking to learn about Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt as people and as life partners.

Cost is $145 per person. This event will be limited to the first 20 people to register and pay the registration fee. To register, call Steve Adams at (607) 592-1583, or via email at sadams@knickerbockertours.com. Payment can be made by check or by credit card over the phone.

Motel accommodations are available in Hyde Park. A list of local motels can be provided upon request. Inclusion in the list does not imply any recommendation.
