Harry Howard, Battle of Saratoga Waterford Lectures Set

History of the Battle of SaratogaThe Waterford Historical Museum and Cultural Center has scheduled two lectures, one on the history of Saratoga Battlefield and a second on Harry Howard who was among New York’s most famous 19th century firefighters

The lectures are scheduled for February 13, and March 13, 2018 at the Van Schaick Island Country Club in Cohoes.

The Battle of Saratoga, presented by the Saratoga National Park Service Rangers, will take place on Tuesday, February 13th at 7 pm.

Harry Howard: New York State’s Most Famous Firefighter will be presented by Christine Lillpop of FASNY Museum of Firefighting on Tuesday, March 13th, at 7 pm.

Admission is $6 for non-members, and $5 for museum members.

These lectures will be held at the Van Schaick Island Country Club in Cohoes (201 Continental Avenue).

Food may be purchased additionally but is not included in admission price.
