A conference to increase awareness, stimulate interest, and nurture partnerships in preparation for the centennial celebration of women’s right to vote in New York State in 2017 will be held in Waterloo, NY (near Seneca Falls), on October 1st.
The village of Seneca Falls and its attractions will host a tour on the evening preceding the conference. Included will be special tours of the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s home, National Women’s Hall of Fame, Seneca Falls Historical Society Museum.
The conference will be held at Holiday Inn – Waterloo/Seneca Falls, 2468 NYS Route 414, in Waterloo, NY on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 9 am to 4 pm.
The event is being sponsored by the New York Cultural Heritage Tourism Network (Network) and its Women’s Rights & Suffrage Committee with funding from the New York Council for the Humanities and Generations Bank of Seneca Falls.
The cost per person is $50 for Network members and $60.00 for non-members and includes continental breakfast during registration, morning coffee break, luncheon, afternoon break. Exhibitor tables are also available.
