The Journal of Transport History (JTH) is now accepting manuscripts through ScholarOne Manuscripts.
The JTH publishes scholarly research on the histories of all instances of transport, travel, tourism and mobility, including their relationship with planning and policy. Submissions may be original research essays of up to 8,000 words (including endnotes), short surveys / speculations (up to 2,000 words), or reviews of transport history museums and exhibitions (1,500 words).
Submissions should help to advance knowledge and debate about past mobilities and transport. New evidence, argument, angles of approach and analytical perspectives are particularly welcome.
Intending contributors are encouraged to scan previous issues of the JTH to get a feel for the types of papers which are published, and the standards of scholarship expected. Researchers are welcome to submit an article proposal or outline to the Editor before committing to a full submission to the JTH.
Online submissions are made via JTH ScholarOne website: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.
New users will need to first create an account. Once logged in, submissions can be made through the Author Center.
